I'm trying to render a relatively long(30 mins) logical record and although modul8 seems to go through the rendering process the resultant file is zero KB. If you then try to render again modul8 will freeze on the first or second frame of the render. The only way out of this is force quitting and then you're back with the zero KB file.
I've tried rendering to both internal and external hard drives with the same results.

What Codec are you trying to render it as? This might be part of the problem.

I've tried with both animation and apple intermediate.

can you try several other codecs and see if there is a positive result? PhotoJPEG? h.264?
