    MIDI mapping

    by KjellV » Mon Apr 18, 2011 10:31 pm

    Hi there guys,
I was wondering if there's a way to make two midi buttons act like the up and down buttons on the keyboard, just to jump to the layer you want to edit.

. yes... you'd want to create a custom module that would have:

    . a button for up
    . a button for down

. then just determine the currently active layer - and move to the next/prev available layer.

. creating a module is easier than you think and the :modules forum is really helpful if you come across any problems

I've found a user-made module today that uses rotary knobs to browse both the layers and the media bank, love it!
