Question regarding projecting on Circular Screen...

    by otuswerd » Mon May 16, 2011 1:52 am

Been looking around on here and didn't seem to find an answer. How do I alter my output to fit on a circular screen? Maybe I was looking in the wrong place so I thought I would ask...
    Thanks...

If you did a search on "circular" you would have found it. I'm quoting Deepvisuals from another forum post:

"when you say warping, do mean on a sphere instead of a circle?
or do you mean polar co-ordinates.

there is a built in spherise in M8

    transformer/patch/sphere"

create a mask on photoshop or illustrator with the desired size of the circle (dont forget to have your canvas be the screen size so videos do not "spill" out). Put the JPG o PSD file into M8, use the mask global module or simply use a layer with luma key, adjust, project inside...
