Engaging saved MIDI in M8 docs.

    by skyvat » Wed Sep 28, 2005 2:27 pm

I have 1 patch wher MIDI won't respond until the MIDI map mode is engaged. Once I turn it on, and then immediately off, the MIDI works.

Anyway to fix that? I'm worried about accidentally changing an assigment as enter and leave the mode.

    Thanks
    Dan

I'm running a 12" g4 powerbook with a Behringer BCF 2000 plugged direcly into the USB port. Other M8 docs with MIDI seem to load fine - but this one file loads with this problem every time.

Sould I email it to you?

Oh, another thing I noticed today. I made a module and used a midi trigger to activate a button in the module. Then I changed the value sent by that button (from ctrl movie speed .25 to .5). Then, when I triggered the module button through MIDI it still sent the old .25 value, but when I clicked the button directly in the screen interface, the new .5 value was sent. I fixed this by entering MIDI map mode and reassigning the MIDI note that triggers this button.

The original problem still remains, though. Maybe that case will give you a clue?

    Thank you,

    Dan
