So i plug my DV cam in with s-video and set it to 768 x 576 ( overscan on ). When i import the mix into FCP with firewire. It is imported at 720-576....and has a black line around edge......so why and how can i just get it to work at 768 x 576.....or should i set the 2nd desktop(camara) to 720 x 576 in displays.
somewhat comfused by all this....

The DV PAL format is 720x576 and the pixels are not square !
If you want a square pixel you need to scale your media at 768x576 after your import.
