Modul8 dumps videos

I know this subject has been touched upon before in this forum, but I dont feel fully enlightened.
My problem is that modul8 starts dumping media from memory even tho it starts up fine with all of them preloaded in memory. I was hoping to get some help getting rid of these red dots:)
i`m using a new macbook pro, 8 gig ram, 2,53GHz i5
I have approx. 110 video clips in my project, which i know is a lot, but most are really short, like maybe 3-4 secs, some are bigger, and a few are just images.
They are all quicktimes in photojpeg codecs. all medias are 640x480
what puzzles me is that at strtup things are running fine, but as i progress through the set they start dropping out..
prefs are; 300, 70, 4000 (maxsize/ %of mem,/max preloadmemory)
the entire setup is midicontrolled from ableton live with no human interaction.
any input and help would be very welcome!
