Monitor Setting - thousands or millions?

Would things run faster if I reduce the screen depth to thousands?


(Realistic colors don't matter! ;-)

Most of the graphic cards work in 32 bits today. So no... It could even be slower (due to color depth remapping).

Interesting...

Would lower resolution (in either or both monitors) produce a gain though?

Yes you should obtain a gain. Of course all that depends a lot of the graphic card... And the gain can be very small comparing to lower the resolution of the medias.
