Hi,
Basic question.
In the sound analysis window, what is - scale, damping.
I think damping is the speed of release of the signal, but scale - is that just the visual scale of the green column?
thanks,
tdog

So,
no-one knows..........
+ is it possible to get the instruction manual to show one page at a time, this widescreen spread is a bit awkward to navigate on a lappy.

- Scale is how much of the range of the audio is used.
- We need to add/change some things in the current manual and when that is done we will revise the format so you can read it on fruit device(s).

Sorry, not too sure what that means - range of audio, do you mean frequency?
Could explain a little more?
Also, why, when I open a saved project, are none of my module settings saved? I have to rebuild the show each time?
Thanks,
tdog

Look at the input of the 'low' for example. If you move the slider to the right the level of input increases. Moving it to the left decreases. You can see this very clearly if you apply this parameter in the auto scale.
I am not sure what you are doing with your setups, which modules you are using, that would cause the settings to be lost. I have a project of several project files for Lance Blisters, that I have been using since around 2005 and I have never had to re-create settings. A more detailed report would be helpful.

Ok, cool;
so each frequency group has a gsin control, and there is an overall gain control.
As for the other problem; for instance I will set up the soundfx module to run a couple of fx, then at the end of the session i 'save project' and close
m8. When i open the project for the next session, the module is off, and i have to reset.

I just looked at the code of this module, and from what I can see the author neglected to write code that would allow its settings to be saved.
I can recommend posting a message to the modules section of the forum to see if anyone can add this functionality to it.
