Hi all:

New to M8, probably have an easy question.
So, I set up some media to play in Group A1
and then I switch to, say Group A2,
when I return to A1, the media plays from the beginning.
Is there a way to set up M8 to let media from
undisplayed groups play in the background, or pause,
so that when I return to them, it doesn't just reset
to the beginning?

It is possible to write a module that will store the position of a movies position in a variable (or a list if you have several layers), and the layer set you exiting so that when you return to this specific layer set that the clips will jump to the position they were at when you switched to another layer set.

This module might exist already, however I have not checked through all the modules recently to know well enough if it does.
