    by pele2010 » Tue Dec 06, 2011 6:05 pm

    Hi ,

i´m using a decklink extrem for my Video I/O.

I can select the Video card for capturing , but i can´t send the Output to the decklink.

Is there a way to achieve this ?

its unlikely you'll be able to output video any way other than via the graphics card.

Because all the heavy lifting Modul8 does is on the GFX card - which is basically a whole CPU dedicated to processing. A Video I/O card is exactly that - input and output - not (major) processing. It'll do somethings but certainly not render multiple layers in a 3D space.

Another way to look at it is that the GPU is the last step in the chain and it would be inefficient to then go back and out a video card - it isn't impossible but just isn't way to do it.

    Sir Alex,

yes this is an option .

Also you can use a V4 and V8 to send to RGB and SD Monitors.
Sad you loose a output slot.
