We are setting up a TV station and need to send the module 8 output we create to our remote playout server over ip.

Is there any live input in the output ? Or can you have all the media on both machines ?

Also what is the speed of your connexion ?

I know that one way a lot of stations use is tools like the Adtec Edje, which streams MPEG2 from a video source. You'd take your modul8 output, feed it in as analog video, and it encodes and streams full-res MPEG2 in real time.
