midi problem with evolution Mk225C

Hi,
I have a problem asigning MIDI controls with the evolution MK225C. I can map the rotary controllers but not the keys. The correct number flashes briefly before turning to 0. I also have a BCR2000 and I've never had this problem.
Any clues?
