heeeelp,

i´m getting crazy trying to get the "sound in" working via my m-audio fast track usb audio interface. the output works fine, the sound on my videoclip imported to modul8 can be heard on external loudspeakers. but when i try to use the "sound in" effect in modul8 i don´t get any reaction.
in the system prefs / audio in i do see the audio level. (from m-audio i go into my mixer, from there back into the input of the interface)
sound in is set to full, the effect is adjusted to the layer, i also restarted modul8.

i´m in pain. anyone an idea????

. make sure to turn up the 'SOUND LEVEL' IN knob in the bottom right corner of the main modul8 window.

you also have to make sure you set up your sound card before you launch m8.

hey there,

finally IT WORKS!!!

i got a new interface: the scarlett 2i2 focusrite

if i want to play the audio from my laptop and use modul8 on the same one soundflower helps. in the audio prefs i set input and output to soundflower

if i want to use an external audio device i set the audio prefs input to scarlett 2i2 and the output to internal loudspeakers and so this is working finally too!

maybe this is helpful to anyone.
