APC 20/40 Cue Level Rotary Knob

    by Basic » Thu Aug 09, 2012 5:50 pm

    Hi,

I have never mapped this but looked at the values using snoize (I think that's what its called) and noticed it had the values between 0-127.

I would like the rotary knob to be used for each layers opacity and by using udarts 2way midi module.

The idea is to map the sliders else where.

Is this possible and does this make sense?

I'm not in front of my machine atm.

    Cheers

Ok, I finally got back and had a look at this.

What seems to happen is it Jumps from 0 - 127 when you turn the knob any which way. it doesn't use any other values other than 0 or 127

I had a look at this in Live and noticed that it works perfectly well for the cue-ing volume (I know this controller has been designed for Live ;))

I also tested the knob out in Resolume 3.3.3 but still no real luck. In Resolume you can get it to go between 0-127 when you rotate it but its pretty pointless as it doesn't have much functionality outside of live.

Is there any way to edit this so it can be used with M8?

    Cheers
