anyone using modul8 together with puredata or cycling 74?

hi,
I am having problems mapping midisignals generated by puredata and cycling 74.
or rather i can send on/off signals and map them to buttons, but i am unable to map values like 1-127 to sliders because modul8 only treats the signal as on/off.
I dont know if this problem lies in modul8 or in the way the signal is sent but i was wondering if anyone have done something like this before and have some ideas about what im doing wrong?
the reason i want to do this is because im making an interactive installation where a mapped sculpture is being controlled by facetracking.
I'm thankful for any ideas on the subject!
