Hi ,

i tried to connect on MBP with a second via THunderboldt (HDMI) output (720p).

i then connected this via HDMI with the BMUS. HDMI input .

The BMUS is then connected with the 2nd MBP via Thunderbold.

I checked the output of the first MBP. The monitor tells me that it´s 720 p 50Hz.

Everything fine.

Then i launch M8 and it worked .... I was very happy. I took a picture and a movie.

I had to shutdown the computer and then at the second time. MBP 1 doesn´t show up.

Does anybody have the same problem ?

It would be great if i could get some help.

My Head is burning because it could be so many things ... Not the right video format / Driver not working correctly /

I startet QT 7 and locked for the blackmagic. But no input ....

I restarted the output several times to make sure that the signal starts again.

Any help would wonderful

Ok,

with the new 2.9 Alpha i got it working.

Now i can run on the 1st MBP > output the display signal > to HDMI ultra studio express (only 720p)

With the BUE connected to the 2nd MBP > Camera input (detect)

And it works great and with no latency (very, very little)

But i can´t with to 1080p (pal 50 Hrz)

Does somebody know why ?

I can select the 1080 p on the first MBP but the i don´t get a "detect" on the second.

Hey after testing some more time i found out that i need to take 1080i with 60 Hrz

With this i was able to input the output of MBP 1 and input it in MBP 2.

At the beginning the Latency is nearly 0 (1 frame or 2 frame)

the longer the connection is established the bigger gets the latency.

(any suggestions to minimize this?)

The only thing i bother is that the alpha down´t come through.

Anybody out there that has solved this problem ?

is there a blackmagic that is able to transfer the alpha too?

would be great....

i will post some pictures.

thanxs

Hello Pele,
I think this problem is because of all about configuring your HDMI splitter. You may check out your device user manual to solve this issue. I had one. I'm using it since 2015. I'm fetching some technical problem with it. I need another one. I figure out this page best wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver. Can you suggest me which one will be the best?
Thanks.
