hello.
my problem is the following:
my clips ar not playing smooth. the stutter continously every few seconds. the problem only exists when i am working with matrox tripple head DP. i am using DP -> VGA adapters from accell. matrox recommended them for best action. what could be the problem?
i also tried lower quality and different types of codecs. nothing worked.

here some infos:
clips:
max. 20mb
800x450 pixel
foto-jpeg 24fps

mac book pro:
2,66ghz i7
8gb ram

24fps is pointless.
its bound to create judder, which is likely the cause of your problem.
convert your footage to something more useful, like the frame rate of your output.

The triplehead definitely won't be causing it. Its a pretty dumb box, What resolution are you feeding it out of your MBP?

i tried now: 25fps und 50fps. matrox output was first 3x 1280x720. today i also tried something smaller today. same problem.

as soon as i plug in the matrox card modul8 is stuttering every second. i also tried the same project in v2.6.5 but it was the same problem there.

it is curious. modul8 is working fine till i plugin in the matrox. even without projectors it starts to stutter.

any ideas?

I suggest you try spinning the built in test card or a still image and see if that judders as well
that will indicate if its a playback problem or a graphics problem.
