Hi, I am trying to get a live feed input (with either a camera or isight)

Modul8 is not even recognising isight (on my macbook pro)

In preferences > video capture - the 'source and settings' button does nothing when I press it. Device name is set to 'none'

My macbook is on Mavericks, which I'm having continual issues with.

Can anyone help?

Same here vgem! Macbok Air 1.7 i7, 8Gg OSX 10.9.5. I think it's not osx related vanakaru. Also you are pointing to a totally different problem, with a different software. Because in my case, all other applications that uses insight cam work well: Mad Mapper, Arkaos, Grand VJ, Booth iMovie etc. Modul8 doesn't respond to the klick on the Prefernces/Videocapture (source and settings)-Button. While "Video capture is waiting..." message appears in the orange bar beneath the Layer box that was assigned to video input. tried input 1,2,3,4 . Reinstalled modul8 2.8 twice too. Everything else in modul8 works fine and as mentioned - MadMapper also gets insight signal.... so what could it be?
