Hi,

i am having trouble with a controller. It gives only relativ data (increment and decrement) .

is it possible to convert them with python into numbers between 0 and 1 ?

my nobs are jumping around from 0 to top level but nothing in-between.

it took me ages to identify the problem....

some help would be great.

Install MIDI Monitor.
Some rotary controllers like DJ scratch ones send 1 when turned clockwise and 0 when turned counter cw any time you touch it. And nothing else. To get this to work for scratching in M8 you need to recode it. Look in the net, I have seen some tips how to do this.
