M8 is quitting suddenly when I load up some hd footage
If i load up 1 loop at time and wait for it to finish loading without doing anything its usually ok
Hardly ideal.


It stops happening when I change each loop to play "direct to disk"
Can u add a global direct to disk option in the preferences
This is on a brand new 2014 retina laptop with 2.5ghz i7 16gb 512gb pcie ssd running maverick playing photo jpeg loops
Does anyone have any other suggestions on solutions in the short term

. try adjusting the values in the 'Medias' tab in the 'Preferences' window… set the values to be lower than they are currently set to force them to play direct from disk…
