    Rebooting or starting a MiniMad with the onboard buttons

    I know you can shutdown a MiniMad by pressing the RED and BLUE button.
    But is there a way to have the MiniMad reboot or boot by pressing a button or button combination, without the need of a USB keyboard or un/plugging the power?

    You can reboot the miniMAD by holding the three colored buttons at the same time.

    Hello, I just tried to reboot the MiniMad by pressing three buttons (red/blue/yellow) at the same time but nothing happens. I also tried with Red/Blue combination as well. Am I missing anything? Is there any other way to reboot besides from unplugging the power? Please let me know. Thanks!

    hi,
    make sure you're running the latest version of MadMapper,
    then you should make sure that your miniMAD is "updated" - to do so you can restore your miniMad's sd card:
    - download first the image disk on the madMapper yourspace page : https://madmapper.com/yourspace
    - download the Etcher app as well : https://www.balena.io/etcher/ (the link is also available on the yourspace page)
    - then all the steps are explained in the page 13 of the miniMad manual : https://madmapper.com/wp-content/upload ... RGUIDE.pdf

    The image disk is huge - if the downloaded file doesn't work it's mostly due to a download fail at some point, you'll have to download the image disk again.

    let me know

    Thank you for your answer! I am downloading the disk image now and will try it once it's complete. Thanks again!
