Hi there,

I'm considering using a Minimad for a future project. For this project, I will need to control with OSC the Minimad over wifi (connected to wifi, no ethernet cable). Is there a way to do it ? Of course, I could do it buy plugin the Minima to a wifi router using ethernet, but this is not what I need.

In the manual, it seems to be over ethernet, and what I remember when I used few years ago a blue version, they were no option to configure wifi credentials (or did I missed something ?)

For the moment you can do that by using an Ethernet + Wifi router with DHCP functionality.

The blue or black miniMAD both feature Ethernet connectivity only.

Thank you for your answer. So, if I need to use an ethernet cable to the router, it will be useless for the project (as it as to be as "free from cables" as possibly as I can). Do you plan to put this fonction in the future ?

I guess you can also configure a Raspberry Pi 3 to act both as a DHCP server over ethernet and Wifi access-point.
By connecting the miniMAD and the Raspberry Pi using a short ethernet cable, you would retain a compact setup while gaining wireless control.
