If I use minimad for a long term solution (1year or longer) what are things to keep in mind?

- Will this be stable?
- Will power on/of on daily schedule be a problem? (or keep it running and shut down projector)
- How many times will the push the ... button pop-up? (because I want to hide the minimad somewhere out of sight.

Maybe other things i'm forgetting.

Other option would be using a macmini, but found out these will also give some issues on long term.

I have two MiniMads and I've noticed both of them require restarts every couple of days. Output simply stops. I have midi controllers connected to both units (microModul8) and their LEDs light up as if the Minimad is still stepping through my sequences, but output eventually stops - without any change to the physical cabling or power. Restarting the MiniMad always fixes it, though with a 30-second startup time.

I've encountered this issue when the MiniMads are configured for MadLight (DMX/Artnet), but have yet to try it for media on a projector. So this may be specific to MadLight.

It isn't a big deal for my use case but it may be for yours. I've never seen it fail in the first 24 hours.
