I'm aware that the MiniMad support Enttec, ShowJockey, and GarageCube USB to DMX devices. Can I get a recommendation on which device is the best USB to DMX that supports 3-pin for a light install?

Seems like most of the Enttec devices are 5-pin. I've made USB to DMX devices with FTDI driver boards before, wondering if the miniMAD supports that.

you can buy a 5pin->3pin converter plug for a few bucks...
