Considering the miniMAD for an installation. Will it accept and playback media files with an alpha channel?

nope… not "yet"… not sure it will even be possible as the optimized codec doesn't support alpha channel

Thank you for the reply. That helps me with my approach. This is a question coming from my limited experience but would I run into performance issues with madMAP using media with an alpha channel? While running off a laptop?
