This may have already been posted on here, but for those that missed it...

Try this programme for batch converting your clips to a certain size or codec, it worked well for me. And its FREE, yay!

Give it a go, its saved me a lifetime of work recompressing my clips to the best size & codec for Modul8.

Nice find, I've not tried that.

Excellent alternative is http://www.lividinstruments.com/software.php
which is free and faultless.

If you haven't tried it yet give Automator a look in your applications folder. I have wangled a batch converter out of that which is a lot slower than Livids but all my own work! Also a handy still image rotate left and right and a clip locator, the first really useful, the second hmmm!

Free, simple to use and very powerful

I found this one today, and it worked well. I needed to batch convert some .flv files to .mjpg and with the Perian codec ( http://perian.org/ ) I was able to convert quickly and easily.

The best one for me too. Really easy, fast. You can save a preset and then just drag and drop.
