is there a way, other then opening a new project, to clear your current media set?

i was playing with 2 Macbook Pros until now, and did this by switching to source B on the edirol v4 and just opening a new project on source A and loading new clips. but this weekend i have to seperate, because we are having two gigs at the same time.
now im wondering if i can clear my mediaset without loading a whole new project. because loading clears the output. and i would see a black wall!

what i tried today is bind "clear media clip" to a button an press is to clear every single clip.
but thats more buttonsmashing then i expected hehehe.

any ideas?

The idea would be to have a module that would run a loop to delete x medias say '1' through '10' from the set. But at the moment such a keyword does not exist. Something to suggest I suppose.
