    MacBook Pro dual DVI?

    by vanakaru » Tue Jan 15, 2008 11:49 pm

I got new MBP. It has dual DVI support!?
What this actually means in terms to have wide/dual output to two projectors. What kind of adapter I need?

    Thanks!
So do I understand right, you need adapter like Matrox 2GO. But what MBP multi screen support means, because Mtrox does it in its box, not in Mac.

Dual DVI is for use with a 30inch screen because a single DVI link can't deliver the necesary resolution. It's not made to split for 2 screens, it seems you have been misinformed about its use.

it means you can have the screen of your mac plus an external screen. with the matrox you can have the screen of your mac plus 2 or 3 external screens depending on what version of matrox you have
