Hi there

i am quite new to Modul8 and i was wondering, which external Midi Controller / Faderboard would be nice to use with Modul8. Any good or bad experiences on a usefull layout for one or the other MIDI Controller? Which ones are you guys using

Thanks for any input

2-3 iPod Touches and iTouchMidi Matrix, Tilt, Pad.
Custom made scrtch pad. (modded simple USB MIDI controller)
BTW this question is asked every other month, so do search too.

The Akai MPD-24, it's not that expensive, and it has got some good controllers.

And the super midi controller is the Codanova VMX, a lot of knobs, pads, and jogging wheels.

. i primarily use a livid instruments Ohm controller then combinations of Evolution UC-33e, Korg padKontorl and Edirol Oxygen8 -- depending on the project

. one day, i'll link them all in at the same time >:)

I have been using the M-Audio Trigger Finger for longest with modul8. Cheap, light and can handle a decent amount of abuse. This is especially useful if a lot of the performance involves triggering of layers and actions built with modules.

Have had access to the MPD-24. It is a decent runner up for the TF but it does not work out of the box with m8 the way the TF does.
