Puzz; I believe that tutorial of deepvisual is excelent but it doesn't apply to the question of berk,
I have been trying to do a curved screen mapping and I can't find a good solution for the curved deformation in modul8. I love to see in the future something like the realtime "ScreenWarp" of hippotizer but on modul8.

P.D. Happy new year everyone :D

yes there is spherise, but how do you apply it to a curved screen? transformer/speherize+ perspective transform? mmm...

You could always use the cylinder rather than the sphere and then zoom into it so the view is from inside it. You'll be cropping into half of the image though

I'd say the 3D deformation in the vimeo example is done in a 3D app.
its possible to do something similar to this in quartz composer.

I have found that if you use the perspective transform in combination with the pinch distortion there is a lot of control over creating a curved layer.
