    Behringer BCR 2000 midi mapping

    by te-c » Wed Aug 05, 2009 6:59 pm

I need some help with midi mapping of the BCR.

What can I do with the encoder groups and how can I map other presets with other functions.

Would be gret if some can help me. Maybe there' re coming some more questions next time.

well we got one but the setup depends on how you'd like to use modul8...

presets: e.g. map them on another midi-channel to switch between "function sets"

the nice thing about the encoders is, that they're buttons, too (we use them for the layer effects like transformers, etc. (one bank for matrix, one for patch, one for particles))

but as i said it depends how you want to use the software and on what comforts you...

I have to make another channel to use more presets, right?
Can you tell me exactly what I have to do? How can I do this?

the point is to make sure that your MIDI messages are all different in the different presets. Using a different channel for each is an easy way to achieve this. You'll have to do this by reprogramming your BCR's presets.

OK, I will try it today. Yesterday I've mapped the four different "encoder groups". It's so hard to map all these buttons.

YES, I've got it. All what I wand is mapped, now. I will send a manual to map the bcr within the next time.
