Facilitate Record to disk process?

Hi,
I need to record To disk during a performance with my MacBook Pro.
I know that its CPU and Disk consuming but I need to loop just recorded images.
1°
Each time I need to modify the default parameters to
Apple Photo JPEG
25 fps
480x360
75%
and so on...
Is it possible to modify the default preset in Modul8?
A kind of XML file somewhere?
2°
Do you have any advise to help me with all the manipulations:
- shortcuts to Start and Stop records
- a way to import automatically the recorded files in the media panel?
(a kind of Apple Script with a watched folder...)
