The VMX Activ8 will probably never be more than a prototype unfortunately. Codanova announced today that they are shutting down. Yesterday Vixid threw in the towel, today Codanova. It's sad to see these french companies fall under the current economy. R.I.P.

the activ8 is in garagecube's hands so it might not be so dead if it somehow goes to production

Thanks for the heads up Siggie, sounds interesting. We'll see how that goes. Then it must be pretty much ready for production.

I don't have inside stories anymore as I don't work for g3 anymore so I don't know if the prototype is now stable enough for production.

I'm home with my 9 month old baby. I'm living in a bubble - everything is cute.

I use a Native Instruments Maschine as a Modul8 controller. LOVE IT. It's almost perfect...a couple of faders and it would be unbeatable. Here's a photo of my setup, and a stage I worked on for New Years.

Hi Radiofreebc,

I am new to Maschine and Modul8 and had 2 questions regarding the mapping you created (Love It so Far!!!):

1) In the Clip scale/Edit/Load page i do not understand what the load buttons, and Load select knob do?

2) Do I need to use a two way midi module with this midi mapping?

Thanks so much in advance,
