dim output signal ?

i have a simple question - how can i dim my output signal via md8 during the performance if the projection is to bright ?

yes - if i use a single layer it will work.
but if i compose my output picture with different layers and use the master alpha button it doesent work...

Something strange happens if I dim the master alpha with multiple layers.
I get the obscured layers bleeding through.
they should be hidden by the top layer, but come through.
this also happens with the x fader.
and no, they aren't set to lighten..

i think this must be improved
i should have full controll over the outputsignal - lightness/contrast/saturation/etc ...

I think it is time for you to write a module that will control your output the way you want.

Would 1 knob that fades all the layers at once solve the problem? Or do your layers use different alpha levels from each other?
