    MPD26 mapping

    by hensel » Thu Sep 02, 2010 9:48 pm

Recently started using an akaimpd25 to control module8. I searched the blog and found a couple of posts about mapping an akai mpd26 to Module8. But I can't fix the problem of the pads not working in the right way. When I hit a pad for 'invert' or 'flash' it drops the master opactiy or speed. I can't figure out how to map the pads so it triggers an event on/off. It keeps interfering with other values.

Does anybody please have any suggestions on this issue?

hey i use an akai mpk49 and it also has pads, it was a pain on the ass, i use bomes midi translator so i can set it up tos end midi messages the way i want and also you can use the udart 2 way midi to send midi to the akai, it only works for the knobs and buttons though, if you cant get the bomes midi translator you can edit the midi with the program akai gives you, i think its called vyzex or something like that i dont like it so i dont use it i have only use it a few times, but it also work, try changing your midi messages to get something working for you
Repeat after me: I am free
