Avoid Layer stopping after being deactivated

    by ferdi » Sat Jun 04, 2011 4:40 pm

    hey,
could be a stupid question, but i couldn't find any answers in the forums or manual.

i got an animation out of c4d with some moving metaballs and another render of the same scene with cel renderer on, meaning only the mesh of the metaballs visible.

i want to show the moving metaballs all the time and just kind of "flash" the mesh over it from time to time. the problem now is that when the mesh-layer is deactivated by the sequencer, the media stops to continue playing in background, but starts from that time on it was stopped - meaning the two clips getting de-synchronised.

is there any option to avoid the media from being stopped when deactivated?

    thanks for your help,
    ferdi

Check out the module (lpn) AutoResume (layer). That should do it.
