    Lego Drive

    by zero » Wed Jul 05, 2006 8:20 pm

Ahh, but it's not only USB! I have an 80Gig brick which I use via bus-powered firewire 400 with my powerbook for live sets, since the harddrive isn't big enough for my needs, and I prefer to be able to save my set and files in the same place and not worry about missing or moved clips. It's also handy when working as a freelance FCP editor since I can carry my custom settings, plug-ins and effects with me for use on any suite with minimum fuss!

I recently used it for a 3 hour set, and aside from a few frozen frames from too little RAM, it worked like a charm. As well as generating much interest from the crowd...

I say everyone should have at least one. And I don't even work for Lacie (or lego)...
