hey there :)

i just purchased modul8 after playing around several months with the demo-version.

i run it on an 15"-powerbook and i want to use the midi-mapping with my Yamaha CS1X Synthesizer....i dont play it anymore and until it will get dusty in the cellar, i´ll use it for midi-controlling with my videoanimations.

my question is: do i need a midi-interface or can i connect it directly via an usb <--> midi - Connection to my powerbook?!

Thanks in advance :)

cheers...

I'd say to try it. My UC33e works fine over USB

BCR2000 or BCF2000 Behringer

???
You need a MIDI interface for your notebook. There's no such a thing as a "midi-usb" connector.

You can either get a 1x1 MIDI interface (1 in 1 out) or get a MIDI controller that doubles up as a MIDI interface
