    AppleTV

    by sehrinde17 » Tue Mar 18, 2014 7:57 pm

    hello and moin moin!

Some setups of me need no "active" live performance. Simple Stand alone- maybe sometimes a few changes.
So i had the idea to use an appleTV to send the video to an hdmi projector- wirelessly! I tested it with an ipad and the integrated video stream of IOS 7. I´m impressed of the well framerate in apple´s Airdisplay. Exact what i need- no cables more for a simple standalone projection with minimal access to some parameters.
But now the question: How can I send an modul8 scene tom an mac via WLAN to the beamer/ appleTV? Do i need a custom software to have the benefits of AirDisplay?

I´m very happy for any kind of help!

since mountain lion you have your available air displays in your system menu bar. Then you'll have your screen mirrored to your apple tv.

Yes. I've tested it. With the build-in feature in Mavericks it´s very easy to select (only) one AppleTv in MadMapper as the Outputmonitor. G_R_E_A_T
