How to create interesting new media using OSX screengrab

Using the 'still' mode during a test run and then use Command-shift-3 (OSX screen grab) to save it can create very interesting backdrops you can later on import again as Media.
It's also a great way to document your gig (apart from taping it of course).
Off topic:
Would it be it be an idea to have a 'snapshot' option that saves a screengrab directly into a channel so you can use it straight away?
BTW: after 10 years of VJ-ing and searching for the killer app, I've finally come home. Modul8 is the tool I/we have been waiting for.
The creative realtime interaction is highly impressive! (and highly addictive too
).
Many thanks to you all for adding a great new sense of wonder to the art of VJ-ing.
