How can I delay a live video stream?

Hello,
I am looking for a way to use a live video input, but delay the output of that stream. Is there any way to do this in Modul8? I googled for a while and all I found was Midi Thief’s answer to a similar question:

The post is almost three years old, so maybe now is an easier way to do this? I tried to follow the steps explained in that post, but I am completely lost and I have no idea what to do with Quartcomposer / XCode …
So if anybody has an idea of how I can find a way to do this, I would be very thankful!
