Hi,

GIF support works fine one by one, but not if they're in a folder.
When I add a folder of GIFs to the Media Set it just shows the first frame of each one – like the old versions used to do.

Also, I just noticed it's only playing two of the four frames of each of my GIFs when I drop them in normally.
Here are the ones I made for testing.

when you load a folder as media each file is a single frame. an animated gif is considered as movie this is why it's not played

Sure, but is this correct? If GIF:s are now supported in the new version, the expected behaviour would be that they also be recognised in a folder, right?

It makes sense, but animated GIFs are played back as video files in version 3, whereas folder player only support static images, at least for now.
