    Garbage in the preview

    by broken » Thu Sep 29, 2016 8:08 pm

Having issues with some of the test cards displaying static or garbled images when clicking on them the first time.

If I click away to another clip and back, the correct test card is displayed. Noticed this happening a bit in the last beta as well.

    Oh oh
    Already a feedback !! great !
Looks like garbage, could you test-it with output Retina?
    In the preference (Misc--> Retina)
Of course we don't have that issue here...
Also what graphic card, os, etc... are you using ?

For the next time to make things simpler please create a new topic.
    Thanks.
    Boris.

    Cheers Boris,

Sorry for replying here - some of my other topics posted outside official posts don't seem to get much notice so I thought this might be my best option to get a reply!

The Retina setting has seemed to fix this garbage static. Thank you for the quick response! I must have missed the addition of the Retina feature.

    edit: 10.10.5 using a NVIDIA GTX 780 6GB VRAM

    Hi Broken,
Are you using a Mac Pro with a GTX 780 installed on it?
According to your screenshots I assume you're running Modul8 on a non-retina screen?
Could you try to deactivate the Retina preferences and give Modul8 another try to make sure it's the cause of the issue?

I am using a self built "hackintosh" with GTX 780 installed.

The screen I have attached in the screenshots is 1680x1050px resolution.

The fix was actually to activate the "Retina" preference as boris posted above, and I confirmed in my previous post.

    Cheers
