artnet controller setup tutorial

i have a new kit with the garagecube artnet controller. i've been able to setup my stripes with the usb controller in the past, but with the new artnetcontroller i'm stuck - i'm using madmapper on a mac and i'm struggling to find a tutorial, a step by step help, anything that could help me to make the bars work.
