Upgrade fee

Hi,
I'm planning to use the v4 BETA in my production environment next month (for the feature "Points can be added freely in the quad"), I assume there would be a free upgrade if I buy it 6 months before the stable release, but since there won't be such guarantee in software development, what will be the estimated upgrade fee? Asking for cost planning, thanks
