hey freaks, dirty psychics, spaceship pilots~
Autonomous Mutant Festival is here yet again, in its 13th year which must be some sort of anniversary for us. Free festival on the west coast of the u.s.fuuckin-a. Announced dates are June 30-July 8. Location isn't announced yet as per regulations (Johnny Law don't need no help), but location-scouts are pointing toward Oregon state.
We're mostly soundsystems & art & a functional atmosphere for yer ceremony, but visuals have been coming up big for some time. I did my first VJ performance there backing Hecate (Berlin) on the PANZEN big screen, and learned a heck of a lot from their regular VJ (all-hardware guy.. so juicy..)
It's a bring-your-own-everything scene, but if you got gear & a show its not too hard to hook up with a generator-having system.
Maybe this year we can trigger the volcanoes.
