the web technologies is what i'm curious about, maybe not the forum for this but how does the motion of the iphone control the volume and velocity of the swf file that's in modul8. I get that they created their own network and that's how the osc is sent, guess it's a matter of knowing how to build an iphone app? Unless they sign in to the network, then go to a specific url which loads a swf file which they built with some sort of rss feed that talks to another swf file loaded in m8? just curious and rambling.

I don't know how theyy proceed but I would say it's a webpage (easier for quick deployment) on the iphone that continuously sends values to a server. Then the file that modul8 uses (flash or quartz composer, or even a module) gets the values from the server. It's not complicated at all but quite efficient!

rad sigmasix thanks. so many different languages to learn. daunting at times for me coming into all this with no formal education. extremely fun regardless.
