tell me about it, its been easily a month i haven't worked on it.

thing is i have still been using the apc and I've become more familiar with it. Having the additional lights will make it even better.

    :)

I just made a module which provides LED feedback for all buttons on the APC20. It's a very straightforward module which only implements my desired layout.
If desired, I can post the code for this module.

    Hi all,

Here the zip file containing the mapping layout, a default file with midi mapping and the actual APC20 module.

Anyone looking to map an APC20/40 with Bomes may find this of use.

Time just flies when your having fun...

I can't believe how long its been since i last posted on this thread and when I actually started it.

I hate to say it but time and motivation have got the better of me.

I went back over my module and in all honesty i just couldn't face picking up from where i left off as too much time had passed. I tried to get something working but it was too much and with little time on my hands i looks for an alternative.

Initially i looked into Bomes but found this more frustrating than my module.

So i just downloaded Udarts 2 way midi and its worked a treat. its a little different to how i imagined my LED mapping to be but it does the trick. I've only set it up but I'm looking forward to testing it out at a gig sometime soon. It seems to have added a little more life to my APC as without the midi feedback it looks a little dead and dull in a club.

Anyways sorry for not completing and letting some people down but i have to say props to Udart for this great module.

    Cheers

I never ended up finishing it due to time and not being too good with python. I basically just use Udarts's Two Way Midi Module and it does exactly what i need it to do. The LED's don't light up specifically to how i want but it works for what i want if that makes sense.

I'd download it and give it a try :) it's a brilliant module.

Yeh without a doubt, even the apc 40 would be better but it works for me.

I'll try and post an image of how i have mine mapped but with the 8x8 matix you can really do what you want. Having additional buttons is brilliant if you use other modules. :)

They are robust and ive taken mine to loads of gigs and flown with it etc and its still in good condition, i can imagine it lasting as long as it needs to!
