    Perspective Transform/ Record-DVD

    by lamepantallas » Mon May 12, 2008 9:39 pm

I have been experimenting with perspective transform since I am currently preparing an video poetry installation over 3d objects (by the way, thanks Deepvisual!).The complication is as follows:
    1) I will create the installation live, making sure every object in which I project is correctly focused and placed, with modul8 and my projector.
    2) The installation itself wont be live, I will have to make a video of the live performance through the option of logic render record using a 4:3 aspect ratio. Once, recorded I will create a DVD loop, in order to connect the projector and project it over the 3d objects. The installation is not live, since it will be in an art gallery and will remain about a month or so there, Only the inauguration will I perform live in an ephemeral installation.

What recommendations could you give me in order not to loose in the conversion live Modul8 to DVD over the projection on 3d objects.

    Thanks everyone!

make a line up dvd clip to ensure the system is in focus and aligned right.

I usually project a picture/outline of the object/screen back onto itself

once its all good, you can play your usual DVD
