    Multiprojection confusion

    by gregy1 » Sat Aug 23, 2008 12:15 pm

Feel free to call me dumb, but I am really baffled by multiprojection setup. I've got a Mac Pro, 10GB RAM, 2 GeForce 8800GT's. Three identical XGA projectors. I've been trying to get a single 3072x768 workspace spread across the three projectors.

I've tried expanding the preview grid to the full size, but then it exceeds my main monitor resolution.

Yes, I've read the manuals and find that section to be very difficult. All the rest I get and has been going well.

Does anyone have an advanced projector setup file that matches this? Any other advice? I'm supposed to go live with this in 3 days and am getting kinda nervous and frustrated.

    Thanks!
    Greg

Did that. T want the projectors to work at full XGA resolution. Doesn't it matter what resolution the preview window is at?

    And then what?

Sorry, I must have a big mental block around this topic 'cause I've been using computers for 25 years and never been so baffled for such a long time. Appreciate your patience in guiding me through.

    Thanks!

    preview is independent.
set your monitor res in system prefs in the mac OS.

    that should be it.
